Our Story
His Will, His Way, My Faith
For those that don’t know me, I’m Kristine Erwin. I am super excited to be the new owner of this little flower shop in Jamestown, Ohio. Many of you know that I recently left the classroom after teaching for 21 years. Originally, becoming a florist was not on my radar, but praise Jesus for leading me on this journey of faith! With much prayer, I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone, doors have been opened and my heart is full from His blessings.
Something New is not new to our community. For the past 43 years, it has supplied many of you with prom flowers, special occasion arrangements, wedding flowers, and funeral arrangements. Along with a much needed physical makeover, we will also be adding to the ways we serve our customers. Here is a quick preview:
*FAITH- Without God, none of this would be possible! Isaiah 43:19 says “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” This will be our motto as we host bible studies and faith-based book clubs. We will carry faith-based merchandise as well.
*FLOWERS- Of course, our main focus will be to meet your floral needs. We will be using the absolute highest quality flowers available to create unique arrangements for our customers. We will also offer some make it/take it workshops for a variety of projects from a variety of artisans.
*FINDS- My love for all things rusted and worn will also be a part of this. In addition to traditional glass vases, customers will be able to choose from a variety of vintage containers. Our storefront will be full of refurbished furniture and items for you and your home.
Due to the extensive renovations that need to be done, we have not chosen an official opening date, but I am currently taking orders for delivery or curbside pickup. I am also available for wedding and funeral consultations. Each order puts us a little closer to our “Grand Opening”! Until then, I would covet your prayers for a speedy and smooth transition.
Faithfully,
Kristine
